Dr. Mahfooz Ali Ph.D. in Economics from University of Southern California, CA, USA; MA in Economics from Vanderbilt University, TN, USA; and MA in Economics from Aligarh University, India. Worked in senior capacity with various national and international financial institutions including Head of Research Training & Development at United Bank Limited; Head of Training & Development at Middle East Bank Ltd. (Dubai); President of Owena Bank Nigeria; and, President of Credit and Leasing Corporation, Pakistan. He also served as a senior member of the IBA-Karachi faculty as well as served as the first Pro Vice Chancellor of University of Karachi. Dr. Ausaf Ali, Ph.D. in Economics and Master of Accounting from University of Southern California, CA, USA; MBA from Institute of Business Administration, Karachi; and, M.Com. from University of Karachi. Dr. Ausaf Ali taught in the business colleges in Karachi and was a professor at the Institute of Business Administration – Karachi. He also worked in government and industry in Pakistan and in the United States he entered the civil service of the City of Los Angeles from which he retired in 1998. Dr. Ausaf Ali has published both in Pakistan and the United States over the last thirty-five years. His publications include Modern Muslim Thought (Two Volumes); Islam, Science and Islamic Social Ethics’, Broader Dimensions of the Ideology of Pakistan’, and Studies Towards an Understanding of the Developmental Perspective and numerous articles. He edited Sirah of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh): Contemporary Meaning and Relevance, 1994 and co-edited Social Sciences, Muslims and Pakistan: Beyond Today (1995).
Professor Dr. Khawaja Amjad Saeed M.Com, LLB (Pb); MBA (Lebanon); Ph.D (USA); FCMA; FCA Chartered Accountant; Cost & Management Accountant; Chartered Manager and Chartered Secretary., renowned educationist, is accredited with the establishment of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of University of Punjab and Hailey College of Banking and Finance.
